|Workshop on System and Control Perspectives for Smart City|
|Sunday, December 13, 2015
International Conference Center Hiroshima, Hiroshima, Japan
The Workshop on System and Control Perspectives for Smart City (SCPSC) will take place on Sunday, December 13, 2015 at the International Conference Center Hiroshima, Hiroshima, Japan. The SCPSC will take place prior to the 54th IEEE Conference on Decision and Control (CDC) [URL], which will be held December 15-18, 2015 at the Osaka International Convention Center, Osaka, Japan.
The SCPSC is a new event launched in 2015 by the Technical Committee on Smart Cities of IEEE Control Systems Society (CSS) and Research Committee on Control and System Design for Urban Infrastructures of SICE Control Division. The SCPSC provides an opportunity for international interactions among researchers, students, and engineers who are working on various aspects of Smart City control problems, from theory to application.
The workshop consists of several invited talks and a special session for young researchers sponsored by Azbil followed by discussions for future activities.
We invite position papers that propose concepts, frameworks and/or architectures for Smart Cities from a systems and control perspective. The proposals should be 1-2 pages with the IEEE CDC 2015 format and must be submitted by November 2, 2015 (Extended). We anticipate accepting around ten position papers and invite their authors to make short presentations at the workshop and attend the reception. Authors of accepted position papers will be financially support for transportation from/to Osaka and Hiroshima. See [Paper Submission] for more detail.
